Sama Al-Manar, a subsidiary of Turkey-based Tiryaki Agro, is developing a soybean crushing plant and corn storage facilities at Iraq’s Umm Qasr Port. Supported by a $112.5 million financing package arranged by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and provided by Skyline private Investment, the project aims to enhance Iraq’s food security and economic diversification.
